So I had this friend and he moved away. He just moved back a few months ago, and we just started talking again over the weekend. He asked if he could take me out sometime, so I said sure. On Valentine’s Day, he texts me. I never even gave him my number. I ignored it because I didn’t recognize the phone number. So he messaged me on Facebook and asks me on a first date on Valentine’s Day the day of. I said no, because I already had plans. so he asked about the next day. I said no because of work and school. I agreed to a date on Thursday night, but he had to cancel. I just checked my Facebook, and I had the following message in my inbox:
“I know this is far fetched, but would you like to go on a week vacation with me?”
No! Absolutely not! ugh.

I wish I could grab every guy that did this by the collar and shout, “You’re trying too hard! If she says no that much, she’s just not into you!” I learned these lessons the hard way, but none of them ever listen.

Hey Susie, would you like to go across the country with me? I’ll bring the white van and duct tape, you bring you

It’s only a matter of time before he starts playing the victim and whining about being “friendzoned”. But hey, you may as well give him a chance, even if it’s been strung out already. Not to the vacation thing of course, but perhaps a little date
